DF n°183, Live Session with ATTIC TED, Interview with PSYCHE, July 1st, 2013

On June 22nd and 23rd, Grady Roper from Attic Ted gave two concerts in Toulouse. It was the opportunity for us to record a live session in the studios of Canal Sud. Since it is only sound, you cannot see the theatricality of his last show but you can have a glimpse of it. It revolved around the characters of Attic Ted and opera singer Virginia Black and their love/hate relationship. Many new songs were played including a reworking of an old music piece like "Climbing Up" that appeared on the album Land Suite (2006).
During this same show, we had an interview with Darrin C. Huss from cult Canadian dark wave/synthpop band Psyche. For their 30 years anniversary, Lobo-K and his association Bombe-H invited the band to play in Toulouse at Le Cri de la Mouette on May 25th. The setlist included some of their most famous songs and the audience went almost hysterical. A very joyful moment.
