Since
we saw the film Fear X, we knew that Nicolas Winding Refn's visionary
talents would make him one of the most important film directors of today. The
fascinating beauty of such experimental works as Bronson and Valhalla
Rising confirmed it. We met him as he was beginning to shoot his coming
film, Drive, which received a Prix de la Mise en Scène at the Cannes Film Festival the
following year. We talked about art and cinema, of course!
