The
Grief was one of my favorite bands as a teenager after I bought the Huis
Clos box in a French cult recordshop named L'Atomium early in 1988. I find
their music still as inspiring and original today as it was at the time. Norscq
was one of the members of this trio and he went on in the electronic music
field after the split of the band in 1992. Apart from being a legend, he is
also a very lovable guy full of humor. We met him at his apartment in Paris a few weeks before
the release of his Gelatinosa Substantia album. We talked extensively
about this coming release. At the end of the show we talked about Ettore
Scola's Brutti, sporchi e cattivi, which was released on DVD in France , but the
very end of the show is missing.
Norscq's portrait was made by our talented photographer MySS.
