DF n°74, Interview with KINK GONG, December 22nd, 2008

Kink Gong, aka Laurent Jeanneau, is an ethnographer and electronic musician, who has been recording for many years the traditional ritualistic music from the ethnic groups of China, India or Vetnam among other countries of the Orient. He mixes electroacoustic composition techniques with these very tribal and unique recordings. This is an important memory work he has done and published on many CDs. This radio show is like a Mondo trip into the jungle, with funeral rites in the background. From Tanzania to Libia or Laos, you can pack your bags for a real ritualistic moment!
