The
dark, expressionistic and poetic compositions of Thierry Zaboitzeff have always
been what fascinated us the most in Art Zoyd's albums. He created a very
personal universe and language that is much easily described by images than by
words. We met him during the Rock in Opposition festival in Carmaux in which he
played some of his most well-known pieces, especially the ones he made for Art
Zoyd like "Unsex me here" or "Baboon's Blood". Even though
his physical appearance can seem quite terrifying, he is a very charming,
good-tempered, almost shy person when you get to talk with him.
